Description

Silcon Plastic srl is located in northern Italy in the heart of the Dolomites and has been operating in the injection molding field since 1986; we support our customers developing their projects starting from a 2D or 3D drawing, continuing with mould building in our internal mould workshop and finally with the production of the components and eyeglasses. We have a track record in the injection moulding of several materials such as PA, PVC,PMMA, PC, PEEK, PP, ACETATE, TPE, SILICON  and in 2007 we introduced the MIM technology which became the flagship of our Company. In our Metal Injection Moulding facility we produce small/medium size components – max around 70 mm - in stainless steel and titanium.
MIM technology gives the opportunity to produce cost-efficient metallic structural components which can have a very complex structure and little or medium dimensions. These components, usually made in stainless steel or titanium, do not require any additional processing by machine tool, minimizing scrap.
All our products are characterized by a precise study and design of the features and by a careful choice of materials. The finishing is performed internally too, taking advantage of a wide choice of possibilities.
In 2018 Silcon Plastic srl enriched its technical offer introducing the PVD - Physical Vapor Depositon – technology. The PVD allows to realize decorative ceramic coatings with high hardness and wear resistance propertìes.
PVD is the ideal solution for stainless steel or titan objects, but can also be applied to other types of metals. It is possible to deposit different types of coverings with a good range of colors from golden to rosé to black.
