EINSTOFFEN - Unchained since 2008. For almost 13 years, the Swiss label EINSTOFFEN has been synonymous with unique creations that combine sustainable natural materials with urbanity. Dancing in the Dark - New Fall Collection by EINSTOFFEN

We all know the good old Springsteen classic referenced in the title of our fall collection. But it was this year‘s summer, as we‘ve all lived it - the Summer That Wasn‘t, you might say - that mainly inspired the name. In that respect, we might have called it Dancing in the Dark... Times. In a pervasively gloomy period that has at times felt a lot like perpetual crisis, we‘re ready to take some concentrated doses of joie de vivre wherever we can.
And so that‘s how the new collection feels. Smells, tastes, wanderlust, celebration - and colors that pop - everywhere. The shapes are a bit rounder and more harmonious - but with clear edges and our new «E-Temples» providing added stability. This year, EINSTOFFEN won a German Brand Award. This surely sent us into our new design season with plenty of confidence - confidence that you‘ll find reflected in increasingly dynamic lines. A whopping sixty-two new pairs of glasses are waiting for you to discover them. Autumns are often all about gentle temperatures and golden sunsets, bonfires, sweaters, and ciders. This one calls for something different. Let‘s get a little loud and bright in autumn instead.
Remember the title: even if it gets dark, we won‘t stop dancing.
This pair is a tribute to everyone's favorite: the trench-coated, chain-smoking, hard-boiled film noir detective. The classic panto frame beautifully showcases EINSTOFFEN's famed love for detail with the wooden inserts in the temple that form the brand name's hidden "E". The engraved steel nosepads, the Havana acetate and the FSC-certified walnut burl wood are a perfect match for each other and to find a more well-balanced shape will prove difficult even for a seasoned detective!
In the old days, if you wanted fine micro-engravings on metal, you had to cold etch it into the metal with a chisel and punch. This is still the essential technique and it is where the name of the frame comes from. It took us over two years to embed the embossed metal into the acetate properly and to mass produce it. But now you get this sophisticated, filigree, micro-engraved look at an affordable price.
Proud eyewear, the brand of compostable frames that makes you feel good on the inside, because you know that you are doing things well for yourself and for everyone; and on the outside because with its design you will not leave anyone indifferent.
Proud wants to be a benchmark as a brand of sustainable acetate frames. The concept of circular economy is not incompatible with design and quality, as we see in this multicolored compostable acetate frame.
The style of these sustainable glasses does not go unnoticed in this Valencian design that aims to become a benchmark for sustainable fashion. Proud only available at independent opticians.
