Good's brand was born in Naples, the millenary cradle of European civilization, where history, art and craftsmanship come together in the streets, neighborhoods and buildings. The basis of the Good's brand is an original cultural project, created for an accessory for daily use, capable of expressing, more than any other, the personality of the wearer, his attitude and his personal style. Starting from the study of history, art, architecture and design, then we come to the creation of a unique and original product, full of contents. The first collection, Architecture collection, is a tribute to the genius and creativity of 7 illustrious Italian architects who have worked in Naples in the last 500 years, each with their own aesthetic vision, who have left a deep mark on local history and culture and not only. Thanks therefore to the aesthetic analysis of each architect and the search for the elements that characterized the most significant works, in this first collection Good's focuses its attention on the souls of the auctions, where it proposes decorative details present on the facades of three famous churches in Naples – ashlar and pilasters - used as structural and stylistic elements of the glasses, to become their characterizing detail, visible thanks to the transparency of the acetates. Good's glasses are made with the highest quality, organic and environmentally friendly materials through artisanal production. All Good's collections are limited editions, all glasses are numbered and handmade, exclusively in Italy. The Good's production philosophy is totally sustainable, including the packaging and the materials for the stores that recover the scaffolding boards used in the restoration of churches. The frames are made of Mazzucchelli M49 bio acetate, 100% recyclable and 100% biodegradable, without chemical agglomerates to avoid allergic reactions. Recently, 7 other models have been added to the collection in a new stylistic area called dYmenZion-X, particularly innovative for the design and for some absolutely exclusive structural details such as the adjustable bridge and the extendable temples, which allow greater adaptability, and the new hinge. exclusive created by Good's, inspired by the UPN metal beam used in architecture.
Inspiration Inspired by architect and sculptor Cosimo Fanzago (1591 – 1678), original exponent of the Neapolitan baroque, this model is dedicated to women. Like the architect, these glasses never look extravagant, taking a contained but dynamic form, highlighted by the acetates that distinguish an elegant and refined color scheme. Personality The Fanzago model, harmonious and balanced in shape and colors, is addressed to those who love beauty and take care of aesthetic attentively, following fashion without being overwhelmed, carefully choosing the accessories to wear. Description FRONT FRAME: shape inspired to the harmony of the “butterfly” and “seagull wings”, lines are traced sinuously in the upper part, and squarer in the lower. The combination of these two geometric styles is enhanced by different thickness. TEMPLES: model “sail”, reproducing the rawbar. The earpiece temple tip is pierced with an “o” of the Good’s brand. ANIMA (core): visible from inside, silver or gold color, inspired to the diamond-tipped ashlar of the Gesù Nuovo Church in Naples
Inspiration Inspired by architect Luigi Vanvitelli (1700 ‐ 1773), this model shares his same eclecticism and versatility. Theround frame can be placed between vintage reminiscence, inherited from the Sixties and the Seventies, and the contemporary taste of those particularly sensitive to trends. Personality The Vanvitelli model, characterized by round and wide lenses, is unisex. It is addressed to an unconventional intellectual, a thinker attentive to the past, with a vision open on the future. Description FRONT FRAME: the frame, lightweight yet resistant, round shaped, features intentionally raw-cut contours, conferring the distinctive look of design. TEMPLES: thanks to the precision of the Italian craftsmanship expertise, this model – “oar” – is connected to the front frame by the insert in the acetate, conveniently milled with the Good’s brand in metal. The earpiece temple tip is pierced with an “o” of the Good’s brand. ANIMA (core): visible from outside, silver or gold color, it reproduces the fluted pilasters of the Church of San Martino Charterhouse in Naples.
Inspiration Inspired by engineer Luigi Cosenza (1905 – 1984), exponent of rationalism, has its prerogative in the simplicity of the shape, intentionally reduced to essentiality. The absence of any concession to ephemeral and decoration makes these glasses the most stern and serious, yet the most modern. Personality The Cosenza model, square-shaped, has defined lines, but is not sharp-edged. It suits self-confident yet not rigid personalities, influential yet not domineering. Determined, but open-minded, therefore ready to look around and widen their horizons. Description FRONT FRAME: its rectangular shape has rounded corners, making this model suitable both for round and square faces. Its rounded mill helps to smooth the square form, looking pragmatic yet not too stiff. TEMPLES: thanks to the precision of the Italian craftsmanship expertise, this model – “sail” – is connected to the front frame by the insert in the acetate, conveniently milled with the Good’s brand in metal. The earpiece temple tip is pierced with an “o” of the Good’s brand. ANIMA (core): visible from outside, silver or gold color, it reproduces the fluted pilasters of the Church of San Martino Charterhouse in Naples.
