Glasses in raw materials
Metal and plastic remain the reference materials in eyewear, but manufacturers and designers continue to creatively explore new media for a different point of view: stone, slate, paper, cardboard, and other unexpected materials make for one-of-a-kind designs. Surface effects such as rust or burned plastic renew the sense of touch and reveal the beauty of raw edges.
